​A lot of changes have happened at Tradewinds over the past few months—from the addition of our Memorial Park and renumbering of the sites to the work currently underway on our pathway so everyone can more easily enjoy the gazebo.

We want to thank all of you who have chipped in, offered suggestions, lent a hand, and most of all, been patient while we work to get these projects completed.

And we’re not done yet!

We have several more changes and upgrades planned between now and March of next year. As those plans are finalized and ready to roll out, we’ll keep you informed.

Our Website Is Growing Too!

One of the changes we really want everyone to take advantage of is our website.

The website is becoming an important part of how we communicate at Tradewinds. You can use it to keep up with park information and events, submit requests, report issues, communicate with the office, and even have a little fun along the way.

Our September event calendar has been updated on the website!

Be sure to take a look because we have plenty happening—including our newly added Dice Tournament on September 6 at 5:30 PM! Sign up in the office and come ready to roll!

We Still Need Food!

Our Food Drive is still going, and we need your help filling up that donation tote!

We are collecting non-perishable food items through September 4 at noon. Every donation helps, whether you bring one item or a whole bag.

Remember, each donated item earns you one ticket for our monthly drawing!

A special need this time is shelf-stable items that hold up well in our desert heat, including powdered milk, powdered peanut butter, and especially POWDERED BUTTER.

Thank you to everyone who has already donated. Let’s see how full we can get that tote before September 4!

Where Did the Office Staff Go?

Speaking of changes, you may notice we’re not always sitting behind the office desk.

The office is our property!

During business hours, if we’re not behind the desk, that doesn’t necessarily mean we’re unavailable. We may be helping another guest, checking something on the property, working in The Hangout, handling mail or packages, or taking care of one of the many projects that keep Tradewinds running.

Unless our RETURN sign is posted, we’re probably nearby.

If you stop by and we’re not in the office, give us a call at 928-565-5115.

If you’re coming by for mail pickup, a payment, paperwork, or something you’d like to discuss one-on-one, you’re also welcome to call ahead so we can make sure someone is available for you.

The more we can use the website for routine communication and requests, the more time our office staff has to get out from behind the desk, work around the property, help with projects, and most importantly, be part of the community we love.

There are more improvements coming, and as always, your questions, suggestions, help, and patience are appreciated.
